ABOUT JULIAN YOUTH ACADEMY

  • JYA is a program of Teen Rescue, Inc., which is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation

  • JYA was founded in 1993

  • Fully accredited, private Christian residential school

  • Located in the mountains near San Diego

  • Designed for struggling teenage girls in need of full-time supervision and redirection

  • Currently the only Christian school in California designed specifically for this type of teen girl

  • JYA accepts girls ages 12 to 17 and will keep a voluntary student past the age of 18

  • Our goals are to restore your daughter to a healthy outlook on life through loving and firm guidance; to teach life skills; and to build character

  • Open to any family who meets our qualifications regardless of race or religion

  • JYA is a Christian organization, but students and parents are not required or pressured to become Christians

  • Individualized curriculum for each student

  • An average 1:5 staff-to-student ratio

  • We are the lowest cost program for the staff-to-student ratio we maintain

  • We provide different payment options and scholarships for those who need and qualify for it. Please contact us if this is your situation

  • The general tuition without any scholarships is $52,000 for 15 months on campus with an additional 6 months of JYA's Aftercare Support included in the cost

  • Tuition paid with an initial $10,000 down payment and $2,800 per month over a 15 month term at no interest

  • We provide parent training and support meetings

  • If we cannot take your child, we will assist you in finding another program through our nationwide referral service (see teenrescue.org for more details)
